The TA-100/FP is a multifunctional terminal device that unifies time and attendance and access control systems by biometric fingerprint authentication and/or contactless smart cards.

The integrated biometric reader verifies or identifies the person at the entrance to the protected area.

It simplifies tracking of employee log in and out times, as well as tracking times of absence during office hours. When logging in our out, the user should scan the finger or bring the card closer to the device. To define the reason for leaving work during office hours, the user should press function and numeric buttons.

The graphic screen displays the status of vacation days or monthly attendance. Both individual and group messages can be displayed to the employees.

Besides attendance tracking, the terminal device can also be used for access control with advanced functionalities, such as room tracing or additional PIN entry.

The Ethernet interface of the device enables high-speed, real-time data exchange with the server and other devices in the system (peer-to-peer).

Time and attendance tracking

The TA-100/FP terminal device is the basic element of time and attendance system for automated data acquisition. Its basic functionalities are:

  • Tracking of employee log in and out times, defining of reasons for absence during office hours
  • Display of status of vacation days and monthly attendance at user inquiry or automatically at registration
  • Display of individual or group messages to users

 

Access control

Besides attendance tracking, the terminal device can also control the access to protected areas, whereby the access rights can be changed at any time.

  • Anti-passback
  • The terminal device can send real-time inquiry to the server about user access rights and allow access according to the response (online mode)
  • The access on both sides can be controlled by connecting an additional reader to the device
  • Automatic door opening when the fire alarm goes off by connecting to the fire signal from the fire alarm system
