The K-models support EM-125 kHz cards, while the M-models support Mifare and DESfire cards.

The integrated sound and light signaling activates when the card is read, in case of violent door-opening, etc.
Security levels
The variety of RFID technologies gives the user the opportunity to choose the technology according to security requests. The model with the PIN keyboard (ARC-PIN model) ensures higher control of access to protected areas.
Connectivity
The support of the Wiegand and Clock/Data protocols simplifies connecting with access control systems. The R5485 interface is being used for advanced functions (such as writing data on the card) and greater communication distance. The ARC-Desk series supports connecting the reader to a computer.
